Our Story

SkillCare Connect was created by long-term care professionals who were tired of watching talented team members burn out, feel undervalued, or leave the field altogether. We spent decades on the floor and in leadership roles navigating survey stress, high turnover, and disconnected training systems.

When we realized the tools we needed didn’t exist, we built them ourselves. Not another content library, but a platform built around actual roles, compliance challenges, and career growth for frontline care workers.

We didn’t start with a product. We started with a question:

“What would’ve made our work feel more supported, more sustainable, and more successful?”
